What not to put in storage
Some things should never go into storage, both for safety and to protect everything else in the warehouse.
Please keep perishable food, plants, gas cylinders, fuel, paints, chemicals and anything flammable out of storage. Cash, jewellery, important documents and medicines should stay with you, as should anything you might need at short notice.
Empty and dry fridges and washing machines before storage to prevent smells and mould. Clean wooden furniture and let it dry fully before it's wrapped. If you're unsure about an item, ask during the survey and we'll advise.
Storage for businesses
Businesses use storage too: an office downsizing to a smaller floor, a shop clearing space for renovation, a company holding furniture between leases, or a growing business with surplus stock and nowhere to keep it.
We pack office furniture, files and stock, record every item on an inventory, and keep it until you need it. Files go into numbered, sealed cartons so you can ask for a specific box and get exactly that one. When you're ready, we deliver to your new premises and set up.
If you're combining storage with an office relocation, we plan both together. What you need on day one goes straight to the new office, and the rest waits in storage.
Preparing your goods for storage
A little preparation keeps your belongings in good condition for the whole storage period.

Moving out of storage
When you're ready for your goods, call or WhatsApp us with the delivery date and address. It can be your old home, a new flat in Mumbai, or a new city.
We pull your goods using the inventory, check them against the list, load them and deliver. At your home we place the furniture, reassemble beds and wardrobes, and unpack on request, just like any other move.
If you only need part of your goods, say you're moving into a smaller place first, we deliver just those items and keep the rest in storage until you call for them. Everything stays on the same inventory, so you always know what's where.
Questions to ask about any storage
Before you store your belongings with anyone, it's worth asking a few questions. Who packs the goods, and will there be an inventory? How are goods kept off the floor and protected from damp? How much notice do you need to take something out? What's included in the price, and what's charged separately?
