Why we always put the price in writing
Most moving complaints in India start with the price: a low figure on the phone, then extra charges on moving day for packing material, an extra helper or an extra floor.
We do it differently. Before we quote, we see what you're moving, either at your home or on a short WhatsApp video call. We ask about the lift and stairs at both buildings, the distance the crew has to carry goods to the truck, and any heavy or delicate items like a glass dining table, a piano or a large aquarium.
The quote we send lists the packing material, labour, vehicle, transport and taxes separately, along with the date and vehicle size. If something changes, such as an extra room of goods or a change of address, we tell you the difference before the move, not after.
It's a simple habit, but it means you can plan your budget with confidence, compare us fairly with other movers, and know exactly what you're paying for.
What a moving day with Leo looks like
The day starts with a call from your coordinator confirming the crew is on the way. The team arrives with the vehicle and all the packing material, walks through your home with you, and agrees what goes, what stays and what you're carrying yourself.
Packing starts with the rooms you need least. Showpieces, books and spare-room items go first, and the kitchen and bedrooms come last. Every carton is labelled with the room it belongs to. Fragile cartons are marked on all sides, and furniture is wrapped where it stands.
Loading follows a plan: heavy furniture and appliances go into the truck first, cartons are stacked by weight, and fragile items travel on top, tied down so nothing shifts on Mumbai's roads. At the new home the process runs in reverse. Furniture goes into the rooms you choose, beds and wardrobes are reassembled, and the cartons are placed in the right rooms.
Before the crew leaves, you walk through with them to check everything has arrived. The packing waste leaves with us, and your coordinator stays reachable for any questions in the days that follow.
