Packing that you can see
Good packing is the single biggest difference between a smooth move and a stressful one. Most of the photos in this gallery are about packing, because that's where damage is prevented.
Sofas and upholstered chairs get stretch film first to keep out dust, then corrugated sheet on the corners and arms, where most scuffs happen. Wooden furniture such as cabinets, dressing tables and beds gets foam or bubble wrap on polished surfaces before the outer layer goes on.
Glass and crockery are wrapped piece by piece. Plates travel standing on edge, not stacked flat, because they're much stronger that way. Vases, idols and showpieces get their own small cartons with padding on all sides and are marked fragile on every face.
Every carton is taped along all its seams and labelled with the room it came from, so unpacking at the new home goes quickly.

From the doorstep to the truck
Loading is where planning shows. In Mumbai the truck often can't reach the building gate, the lift is small or there's no lift at all, so the crew may carry a wardrobe down four floors of stairs and along a narrow lane to the vehicle.
Inside the truck, heavy furniture and appliances go in first against the front wall. Cartons are stacked by weight, and fragile cartons travel on top. Everything is tied down with straps, so nothing shifts when the truck brakes or turns.
For long routes we use closed container vehicles that keep out rain and dust. Cars travel on carriers with wheel straps, and bikes are wrapped and tied upright. The photos of our trucks and the car carrier show the vehicles your goods will actually travel in.

The part that matters most
A move isn't finished when the truck arrives. It's finished when your home works again: beds made, the kitchen usable and the furniture where you want it.
At the new address our crew unloads, carries each carton to the room on its label, places the furniture where you ask, and reassembles beds, wardrobes and tables. On request we unpack the kitchen and the essentials, and we always take the packing waste away.
That's the moment the last photos in this gallery show: a family settled into their new home, and a Leo crew member at the door with the final carton. It's what every move is working towards.

Services shown in this gallery
Each photo comes from one of our core services. Follow the links to learn how each one works.
Office relocation
Weekend and after-hours moves with labelled floor plans and careful handling of IT equipment.
The packing materials in these photos
Every material you see in the gallery has a job. This is what each one is for.
Stretch film
Clear plastic film wrapped around sofas, mattresses and furniture. It keeps out dust and moisture and holds padding in place.
Bubble wrap
Air-cushion wrap for glass, crockery, electronics and showpieces. Several layers absorb knocks during transit.
Corrugated sheet
A rigid layer over the padding on furniture corners and edges, where most dents and scratches happen.
Foam sheet
Soft foam on polished wood, TV screens and appliance surfaces, under the outer layers.
Branded cartons
Strong Leo cartons in different sizes, taped on every seam and labelled with the room.
Straps and tarpaulin
Straps hold the load still inside the truck, and tarpaulin keeps the rain out during the monsoon.
Send us photos for a faster quote
Just as these photos show you how we work, your photos help us understand your move. A short video or a few photos of each room on WhatsApp is often all we need to give you a reliable estimate.
Walk through each room slowly, and open the wardrobes and kitchen cabinets so we can see roughly how much is inside. Point out anything heavy, fragile or unusual, such as a glass table, a large TV, a piano, plants or an aquarium. A photo of the building entrance and the lift also helps us plan the vehicle and crew.
Send it to +91 86076 41062 with your moving-from and moving-to areas and your preferred date, and we'll get back to you with a price.

Moving in Mumbai, in every season
Mumbai moves change with the weather. In summer, crews start early to finish the heavy carrying before the afternoon heat, and electronics are kept out of direct sun while waiting to be loaded.
In the monsoon, from June to September, everything gets an extra layer. Sofas and mattresses are double-wrapped in plastic, cartons are sealed on every seam, and the truck carries tarpaulin. When a downpour starts mid-move, loading pauses until the goods can go out without getting wet.
During the festival and wedding season, roads and buildings are busier and dates fill up quickly, so we ask customers to book early. Whatever the season, the aim is the same: your belongings arrive as they left.

The vehicles behind every move
The trucks in these photos carry the Leo name and logo, so you and your building security can recognise them on moving day.
For small local moves we use compact vehicles that fit narrow lanes and tight society compounds. Larger homes and offices move in bigger trucks, chosen after the survey based on how much is moving. Long-distance moves use closed container trucks that keep out dust and rain over several days on the road. Cars travel on carriers built for vehicles, with ramps and wheel straps.
Choosing the right vehicle matters. Too small means two trips and a longer day. Too large may mean the truck can't reach your gate. That's why the vehicle in your quote is decided after we've seen your goods and your building.

What these photos tell you about a Leo move
Look closely at the photos and you'll notice a few things that run through every move.
The crew wear gloves when handling glass, crockery and polished surfaces, so fingerprints and grit don't end up on your things. Furniture is wrapped where it stands, before it's moved, so it's protected even on the way to the door. Cartons carry the Leo name and are taped on every seam, not just closed at the top.
In the loading photos, cartons are stacked squarely, with fragile ones on top. The truck is closed and covered, and the car carrier uses ramps and wheel straps rather than improvised planks. These small details are what turn a stressful move into an uneventful one, and an uneventful move is exactly what you want.
